ECOWGEN – Ensuring Gender Parity in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Sector
The investment funds are currently helping to finance a feasibility study on business opportunities for women in a changing energy value chain in West Africa. Through the development of feasibility studies, the project aims to utilize the capacity towards increasing the establishment of energy businesses and deployment of energy technologies to meet the energy needs of the region’s mostly unserved population.
The project is currently selecting the final options for the feasibility studies. To keep up with the developments of the project, please regularly check out the homepage of the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) here.
